Neva Beatrice Thomas, 96, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2021. She was born in Dexter, TX on April 18, 1925. Neva is survived by her husband Andy Joe Thomas whom she married on March 23, 1947. Neva is preceded in death by her parents Jeff and Bessie McKenzie, brothers A.J. and Ralph McKenzie, sisters Loraine Alexander, Iva Cochran and Evelyn Flint. She is survived by her son Joe Wayne Thomas of Bedford, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Denton. She loved people and cooking her famous pecan pie for family and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Monday August 2, 2021, at 10:00 am at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust in Denton, TX, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. A visitation will be held on Sunday August 1, 2021, from 1-3pm.
