Neva Kuester Schoessler, age 67, from Lewisville, Texas died on Wednesday, December 2nd in Grapevine, Texas. Visitation will be at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas on Sunday, December 6th from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7th at 10:30 a.m. at Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas with Rev. Wayne Braun officiating.
Neva was born on November 21, 1942 on her parent's farm near West Point, Nebraska. Her parents were Melvin & Dorothy Kuester. On October 9, 1965, she married Clayton Schoessler of Westside, Iowa.
She attended Immanuel Lutheran School through eighth grade, graduated from West Point High School in 1960 and Commercial Extension School of Commerce in Omaha, NE. After graduation, she worked at Union Pacific Railroad as a secretary. Neva's family moved to Lewisville, Texas in 1984 at which time she worked for Caronia Corporation and then Trietsch Methodist Church.
Clay and Neva were active members at Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Flower Mound.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, family, cooking, crafts, piano, plants, flower gardens and shopping.
Neva is survived by her husband, Clayton, her daughter Carla (Bryan), her son Calvin (Angela), her mother Dorothy, her sisters Phyllis (Keith), Bonnie (Kevin) and Judy (Ed), her brother Gary (Linda), her brothers-in-law Connie (Deanna) and Paul (Rose Marie), her grandchildren Jackson, Nathan and Laura, nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Neva was preceded in death by her dad Melvin Kuester, her father-in-law Art Schoessler and her mother-in-law Edith Schoessler.
