Nettie Mae McBride, age 93 of Corpus Christi (formerly of Denton), passed away Monday January 15, 2007 at Tri Sun Westwood Manner Corpus Christie, Texas. She was born April 17, 1913 in Sadler, Texas to Thomas Ervin and Martha Jane (Sheppard) Jones. She married Douglas Fred McBride in Marietta , Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and also provided childcare in her home. She was a member of the Singing Oaks Church of Christ Denton.

She is survived by her daughter Bettie (Tom) Wetherbee of Orange Grove, Texas. Granddaughter Marsha (Johnny) Wartell of Corpus Christi. Three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

The Graveside Service will be 11 am Saturday January 20, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Park 3801 Roselawn Lawn Dr. Denton, Texas. Visitation Saturday 8:30 to 9:30 am before the service at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Collins will officiate the service.
