Nettie M. Corley, 73, of Sanger, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born October 31, 1936 in Denton to C. B. (Mutt) and Mae (Beard) Ausband. She attended Denton Public Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton. She was married to Kenneth D. (Ken) Corley on June 20, 1954 in Denton, who passed away on November 21, 2002. She was retired from Sally Beauty Supply.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Sanger Cemetery. The family will be at the Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 for visitation.

Nettie is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Kim and Robert Swaim and Rhonda and Dannie Cockrell, son Kenneth B. (Bud) Corley, all of Sanger, and grandchildren Kasey and Brandi Cockrell of Canton, MI, Justin and Beth Swaim of Prosper, and Jennifer Cockrell of Arlington, and great-grandson Jett Cockrell of Canton, MI.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Overall and her parents.
