Nelta Mae Albright, 76, of Denton, died Wednesday August 24, 2011 at her home in Denton.
Mrs. Albright was born on October 3, 1934 in Rogers, TX to Samuel Lee and Katie Irene (Gandy) Tharp. She was married to Bueford J. Scarbrough until his death in 1995, she was married to George W. Albright until his death in 2010. She worked for Texas Bank for many years and retired from Sanger Bank. She was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday August 26, 2010 at the church. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday August 27, 2011 at Gateway United Baptist Church, 2401 N. Bell Ave., Denton, TX. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
Pallbearers will be: Aaron Morphew, Andy Morphew, Paul Roye, Mark Roye, Terry Tharp, Doug Tharp; honorary pallbearers will be: Tom Pugh, Bobby Skipper, Randy Tharp, Paul Cowan.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Scarbrough of Denton, Karen Morphew and her husband Randy of Lewisville; son, Larry Michael Scarbrough of Denton; four grandchildren, Aaron Morphew, Andy Morphew and his wife Heather, Adam Morphew, Meagan Scarbrough. She was preceded in death by a two brothers, Bill Tharp and Alton Tharp and sister, Frances Skipper.
