Narrell Dene Zetzman was born June 7, 1928 in Peacock, Texas. She was the youngest of eight children born to Autie and Betty Myrtle McGough.

Dene was employed at Minters Department store and worked as a bookkeeper for Morgan Jones, Jr. and Senator Grant Jones for many years. She was married for 51 years to Milton Zetzman now of Flower Mound, Texas. She was a loving mother to her children, Paulette Zetzman Bunce, now of Northern Virginia and John Zetzman of Highland Village, Texas. She has 5 grandchildren, Lauren Frances of College Station, Jessica Zetzman of Highland Village, Corporal Justin Bunce USMC ret. of Arlington, Virginia, and twin granddaughters Megan and Ashley Bunce of College Station, Texas.

Dene was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Abilene for many years.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery in Roscoe, Texas. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
