Nanette Reed Lockett, 96, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas, where she was a long-time resident. A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Sanger Cemetery, where she will rest with her loving family. A visitation was held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Denton Funeral Home. Nanette was the youngest of eight children and was born to George and Alice Reed on February 2, 1919 in Denton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, J.D. Lockett. She is survived by stepson, Richard "Dick" Lockett and his wife, Mitzi; niece, Gerry Babb; great-nieces, Tracy Frazier and Terry Skeesick; great-nephew, Robert Trask Jr.; and many loving and caring friends.

Arrangements were under the direction of Denton Funeral Home.
