Reverend Nancy Carol Secrest Christy, 81, passed away on February 14, 2018, surrounded in love by her children, Kathy, John, and Roger. Nancy was a force of nature, a strong woman with fierce passion and devotion to her faith and to the people and causes that were important to her. She loved her family and friends, her church, the arts, the written word, and all things beautiful. She was a friend and pastor to many. She beat cancer and hepatitis C, and fought for every day of her amazing life.

Nancy devoted her life to Christ at an early age as an active and vocal member of the church. Later in life, she went on to earn her Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary, was ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and served as a pastor of churches in both Henryetta and Okemah Oklahoma, and later at Chapel Hills Presbyterian in Dallas, Texas. Upon her retirement, Nancy became an active member of Trinity Presbyterian in Denton Texas.
