Nancy Joyce Hartman (Giordano), 65 of Highland Village, passed away on September 7, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian in Denton. She spent her adult life in Michigan, Virginia, and Texas. She was born April 23, 1945 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to Joseph and Margaret Giordano and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Communications and Wayne State University with an MSW in Social Work. She was employed by Raytheon Corporation after spending many years in Policy Research and as a Public Relations consultant.

The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation on Friday September 10, 2010 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. A family graveside burial will be held on September 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union, www.ACLU.org.

Nancy is survived by her son, Christopher Hartman of Highland Village and James Stropkai of Michigan as well as many close friends across the country.
