Mykah was born on April 27, 2005, in Denton, Texas to Jermaine Woodson and Jessica Johnson. He was preceded by his father Jermaine Woodson. He is survived by his mother Jessica, father Steven, siblings Kobe, Trenton, Alyson, Quincie, his girlfriend Emily and unborn son Jasiah. Also, his cousins, aunts, grandparents.

Growing up Mykah was silly and full of wonder. He loved video games. He had an artistic side with drawing and music. When his older brother got an electric guitar Mykah had to have one. When he finally got one, he would spend time alone learning how to play. It was his time to get away. He was athletic during his adolescence. He grew up to love fast cars. He defiantly lived on the fast side.

Mykah graduated from school and ventured out to find a foundation for himself which landed him a welding and a pipefitting job. He was ready to be on his own and build his family.

He was motivated by money and whatever he put his mind to. He possessed an exceptional drive and genuine compassion for those he truly knew. He was truly a unique individual. He cultivated meaningful relationships with everyone he encountered.

Till his last day, his presence was certainly never dull. He had a knack for finding humor in most any situation. Sometimes his jokes and playfulness landed perfectly, bringing genuine joy. Other times, his antics pushed boundaries, testing patience. It was a complex dynamic, but never boring.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.

The family thanks everyone that has helped and supported in any way. Memorial service will be held at Gateway United Baptist Church
