MURRAY FRANKLIN PARKER obit (NO PIC)
Murray Franklin Parker was born July 22, 1949 I Denton, Texas to Franklin and Ethel Lee (Ussery) Parker. He attended Denton High School and worked as a painter after high school. He worked for Bill's Painting, owned by Bill Robinson, for many years.
He loved motorcycles, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. His love of Harley Davidson is what many people remember the most about him. Also that he never turned a friend away who needed help. That is how most people remember Murray. They remember him as loyal, trustworthy, dependable and kind.
He married Hilda Cantu of Denton after high school and they had two children, Shawnee Parker and Israel Cantu, both of Denton. He was a kind and loving father and will be missed every day.
He is also survived by another son, Jason Parker, from his second marriage. He is survived by many relatives, all who will miss him greatly, including his mother Ethel Parker. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Brittany and Anthony Duran of Denton.
Murray's love of bikes and the outdoors is only surpassed by the love he showed for his family. The graveside service will be held at Old Alton Cemetery at 2 pm on Sunday August 2, 2009. Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
