Monica McDaniel, 52, of Denton, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2009 at her home in Denton.

Mrs. McDaniel was born on November 22, 1956 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Pablo and  Marina Marazan. She was an Administrative Assistant for the Texas Department of Human Services and a Financial Counselor for Consumer Credit Counseling. She was married to Bobby McDaniel on June 3, 1995 in Denton. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday August 1, 2009 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Rev. Randy Snow will officiate the service. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday July 31 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby McDaniel of Denton; daughters, Paula Lopez of Denton, Angelia Blakemore of Caddo Mills; son, Trey McDaniel of Cash; sister, Cecilia King of Denton, Lorena Morazan of Denton, Roxana Morazan of Denton; six grandchildren.

Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
