Mona Lea Blalock Reedy was born August 29, 1950. She died January 10, 2015 at the age of 64.
Her Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Denton, Texas.
Mona was born in San Antonio, Texas to the late Florence Arledge Blalock and the late Joe Blalock.
She graduated from San Angelo Central High School in San Angelo, Texas. She attended Angelo University.
She married Doug Reedy in August, 1973. To this union a son, Grant Reedy was born.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree, then a Master's Degree in Social Work from North Texas State University. She then worked in Denton, Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She loved music, reading, raising German Shepherds, playing card games like bridge, watching movies and sports, and spending time with family and friends. She often talked about the fun they had during summers at the lake when Grant was growing up. She was always there to help whenever her grandchildren needed her. They were her pride and joy!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Reedy.
