Milton B. Hood, 74, of Lantana, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009 at Baylor Hospital of Carrollton,.  He was born January 15, 1935 in Irving, to Raymond M. and Mabel (Bailey) Hood.  He was the Owner of several Child Care Centers.  He was married to Jean Carrington on July 1, 1967 in Richardson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Lantana Club House, Lantana Trail, Argyle, TX  The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.   for visitation.  Memorials may be made to the Charity of Choice.

Mr. Hood is survived by his wife, Jean Hood of Lantana,  daughter  Vicki Gayle DeFord, of Farmers Branch,  Sons;  Milton Hood, Jr. of Arlington,  Rick D. Irick, of Argyle, Rory Hood, of Arlington, and Rodney Hood of Farmers Branch.  Ten Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
