Obituary
Millard Lanham, 87, of Garland, formerly of Denton, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Winters Park Assisted Living in Garland.
Mr. Lanham was born on February 13, 1925 in Arp, TX to J.D. and Gladys (Barron) Lanham. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was married to Virgie Strange on February 21, 1948 in Houston, TX. He retired from the Texas State Highway Department.
Millard is survived by his wife, Virgie Mae Strange of Garland; daughter, Patsy Foshee of Sachse; son, Harmon Perryman of Rockwall; sister, Alice Mae Rooks of Nacogdoches; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great grandchild.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
