Mildred Kathryn "Kathy" Smith, 60, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 in Rhome, Texas. Kathy was born in Dallas, TX on January 31, 1958 the daughter of Wayne Lawson and Donna Hogue Barnett Lawson.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 35 years Jimmy Glenn Smith; son Alan Thomas of Rhome, TX; step-mother June Lawson of Gainesville, TX and step-daughters Tina Wedel and Tisha Bateman both of Enid, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Monday October 15, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust in Denton.
