Mildred Copeland, age 86, of Lewisville, TX, passed away,

Monday, October 5, 2009. She was born July 3, 1923 in Paragould, AR to C.H. and

Maude Burton. She married Marvin Copeland on December 2, 1944. He preceded her

in death in 1972.

Survivors include her son, Lowell "Bud" Copeland and wife

Elizabeth of Lewisville; sisters, Doris Rogers and husband Harvey of IN, Mary

Caroline Jernigan and husband Jr., brother, C.H. Burton and wife Vivian of

MO; grandchildren, Bill, Nick, and Scott Copeland, Cathy Copeland Brown and

Trey Hutchins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sherrill

Cooper and brother, Hayes Burton.

Funeral services will be 7:00p.m., Wednesday, October 7,

2009 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00

p.m., before the funeral.

Funeral services will also be held 10:30a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, AR. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00p.m., Friday, October 9, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery in Paragould, AR.
