Mildred Clearman, 96, of Denton, died Saturday December 11, 2010 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village.
Mrs. Clearman was born on December 3, 1914 in Coryell County, TX to B. and Edith (Brazzil) Adams. She was married to Monk Clearman on July 5, 1934 in Gatesville, TX. Together they owned and operated Clearman Construction Company, where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
A private graveside service was held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Scholl of Henrietta, TX. Becky Cheek of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Evelyn Clawson of Temple, Joyce Tomlinson of Pollockspines, CA; four grandchildren, Barry Knight, Molly Marchman, Tommy Laney, Adam Laney; five great grandchildren, Claire Knight, Libby Knight, Sam Scholl, Grayson Phillips, Madelyn Phillips.
Memorials may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, P.O. Drawer G, Denton, TX 76202.
