IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michelle Lynn
Lundin
January 29, 1983 – August 30, 2025
Michelle Lynn Lundin, age 42, of Denton passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
She was born on January 29, 1983, and the world was forever changed. Michelle was born in Manhattan, Kansas and was the youngest daughter of Jim & Betty Lundin. The state of Kansas couldn't contain her personality and the family moved to Texas eventually settling in Denton where Michelle grew up.
Michelle loved making friends from an early age and made an impression on everyone she met. She graduated from Denton High School in 2002 and went on to earn her Associate's degree from NCTC. Michelle continued her love of making new friends and meeting new people through her work at Kroger, where she was loved by coworkers and customers alike.
Although she faced some physical challenges from birth, she never let them stop her from living life. As kids she was her older sister's shadow and would always do everything her sister did. Michelle did things in her own unique way, but she never let anything get in her way.
Michelle was an accomplished writer, loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially hearing stories about all her antics over the years (if you know you know "They flew in, and they flew out" or "Mom, where are my clothes?!" or "Ice! Ice everywhere! Check it out!"). She had a strong competitive streak and loved to play cards or other board games (as long as she didn't lose).
Michelle will be forever missed by those she left behind: her mom and dad, Jim and Elizabeth "Betty" Lundin of Denton; her sister Jennifer Lundin of Denton; her uncle Leroy "Uncle Funny" Bowker and his wife Kim of Rockwall; her aunt Brenda Jensen and her husband Craig of Alta Vista, Kansas; uncle Raymond Lundin and his wife Cheri of Topeka, Kansas; bonus aunt Judy Crosby and her husband Herb of Port Aransas, Texas; bonus aunt Barbara Larson of Manhattan, Kansas; and many, many cousins. Her smiling face will also be missed by her numerous friends and repeat customers at Kroger.
A memorial service to honor Michelle will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date.
