Michael Ray McCormack, 63 of Denton died Sunday, March 18, 2012. He was born December 28, 1948 in Denton to James P. McCormack and Faye Yeatts. He was a graduate of Denton High School and Attended the University of North Texas He served in both the Arny and Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion, DAV, VFW, Vietnam Veterans of America, Military Order of the Purple Heart.

Mike is survived by a daughter, Mary Christine McCormack and a son Justin Ray McCormack both of Lubbock, Mother Faye Hughes of Denton, Father James P. McCormack of Denton, sister Patsy Sallee of Krugerville, and a brother Timothy McCormack of Denton/

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday March 23, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Russell Williams, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N;. Locust, Denton on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6 P.M. until 8 P. M. for visitation.
