Michael (Mike) Dwight Lewis, of Carrollton, passed away on March 27, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1952 in Buffalo, New York to Elsworth (Al) Lewis and Tina Bernicchi Lewis. He grew up in Dallas, graduated from W. T. White High School and the Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He retired from Raytheon in 2000 then joined Hitachi High Technologies America, retiring in 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marie Russell Lewis, his mother Tina Lewis of New Braunfels, sister Joanne Golden and husband Gene of Kyle, brother Paul Lewis and wife Cheryl of Yantis, and two special nieces, Ashley Garza and Erin Waters. He was preceded in death by his father, Al Lewis and his in-laws, Ema Ruth and Larry Russell of Denton.
A visitation will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. until 10 A.M. followed by a Rosary at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton, with a graveside service at 11:30 A.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or charity of Choice.
