Michael Elliot Cole 51, of Krum Texas passed away on June 21, 2012 at his home. He was born August 24, 1960 in South Bend Indiana to George William and Donna June (Darsey) Cole. He was president of GTI telemarketing and was a graduate Plano Senior high school and University of North Texas. Mr. Cole is survived by his daughter, Darsey Cole of Krum, Texas, and brother, Steve Cole of West Chester Ohio, and other extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 27 at the Mulkey-Mason Chapel at 2 PM. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason funeral home, 705 N. Locust in Denton, for visitation on June 27 from 1 PM until the service.

Mike Cole was a good man and loved by many family and friends. He doted on his 9 year old daughter, Darsey and her step sister Riley, spending most of his free time as a father and step father to these lights of his heart. Friends remember Mike as a generous and tender-hearted compassionate person who was always available to lend a helping hand. His is remembered for his penetrating blue eyes, amazing smile and booming laugh that could warm a room and heart when he was present. When Mike was not at work as the President and CEO of GTI, he could be found at the gym challenging whom ever he could to a friendly game of racquetball or participating in cycle classes and volunteering his time at local hospitals with Mocha, his service dog. Mike found peace outside, and was frequently found taking camping trips with his beloved Darsey and friends, enjoying the outdoors and building bon fires in the cool night air. Mike had a soft heart towards his animals, and was often welcoming in stray and unwanted animals into his home. Recently Mike found new love and will tragically be missed by those who knew and loved him.
