Merle Inez Kinnard, 93 of Denton, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village. Mrs. Kinnard was born August 29, 1911 in Graford, TX to Vance Lemons and Lena Merle (Bowen) Millsap. She was married to Jacob Randolph Kinnard on September 22, 1935 in Junction, TX (he died in Nov. 1983). She was a homemaker and perepared income tax returns working from her home thirty years. She was a member of the Chruch of Christ. She lived in Iraan, TX from 1946 until 2000 when she came to Denton.

A graveside service will be held at 10;30 A.M. Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Restland Cemetery in Iraan, TX. Barney Moore will officiate the service.

Merle had four children; Barbara married to Dr. Ralph Pyke, they live in Denton, J. R. Kinnard married to Ginny Ammonette, they live in San Angelo, Lynda Married Lyman Caswell (she died in 1985) Jacob married Paula Boyd (he died in 2001) Widow Paula lives in Midland; sister, Emma Davee of Sweeny; ten grandchildren, David and Steven Pyke, Keith and Kelly Kinnard, Randy and Timmy Caswell, Amy Mills, DeBora Turpin, Martin Kinnard, Christy Beth Green, 16 Great Grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
