Meralene Davis, 65, of Denton, died Tuesday December 29, 2009 at her home in Denton.
Mrs. Davis was born on October 29, 1944 in Decatur, TX to Jack Meral and Johnnie Meral (Works) Wells. She was married to Rodney Wayne Davis on March 19, 1971 in Tuscon, AZ. She was a homemaker.
A visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday January 3, 2010 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday January 4, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pastor John McLarty will conduct the service.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Wayne Davis of Denton; daughter, Rhonda Essington of Denton; son Michael Davis of Long Beach, CA; two grandchildren, Allison Essington and Jack Essington.
