Obituary
Melvin Carl Young, Jr., M.D., age 64 of Denton, Texas, formerly of Paris, Texas peacefully passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 10, 2012, after a brave battle with multiple myeloma.
Dr. Young was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Medical School in Norman, Oklahoma and Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas specializing in anesthesiology. He is survived by his wife Sue of Denton, Texas, daughters Kristi Wood of Valley View, Texas and Beth Roark of Fort Worth, Texas, and five grandchildren. He was the men's Sunday School teacher at South Street Church, affiliated with Mission Arlington in Arlington, Texas. He loved spending time hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
The Memorial Service will be 2 pm Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Grace Street Church on the southeast corner of Pioneer Pkwy and Fielder Rd. in Arlington, Texas.
