Melba Jo Followill of Justin, a loving wife and mother, joined her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2021. Melba was born in Foss, Oklahoma on August 30, 1933, and was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Murray Coleman Followill Sr., her parents William Frederick and Florence Mae (Moore) Cox, sister Ruby Mae Dodson of Decatur, TX, and sister Ina Florence Wilcher of Portales, NM.

She is survived by her sons Michael and Mark, and her stepchildren Gwen, Murray Jr., and Steve, and four grandchildren. Melba grew up in Rogers, NM and moved to Texas in 1965. She worked as a nurse for over 20 years, including from 1981 to 1994 at Lewisville Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2pm on October 5 ^th at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan, TX with Pastor Scott Pace presiding.
