Maybelle Watkins, age 80, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009, in Dallas.

She was born November 13, 1928 in Joplin, Missouri to Clifford Earl Grimmett and Ethel Burnnett Grimmett. Maybelle married Davis J. Watkins who preceded her in death on January 29, 2000. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star.

Maybelle is survived by her son, Davis Watkins and wife, Alison of Highland Village; grandchildren, Nancy Phillips and husband, Jason, Davis Watkins, Jr. and wife, Hether and great grandchildren, Alex, Audrey, Porter and Eva.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Ozark Memorial Park in Joplin, Missouri.
