Maxine Price (Higgins), age 87, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday,

August 14, 2007, in Lewisville.

She was born June 6, 1920 in Noel, Missouri to Lester Otis and Gertrude Samantha Stein Lemmons. Maxine married Fred Higgins who preceded her in death in January, 1973. She then married Al Price who preceded her in death in 1999. Maxine was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jaye McGuire of Athens, Texas; sons, Dennis Higgins of Lewisville and Jerry Higgins of McKinney; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and her brother, Michael Bruce Lemmons of Fallbrook, California. Maxine was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry Higgins, Jr. on May 18, 2000.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Flower Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2007, at the funeral home.
