Maxine Elizabeth (Burch) Bell, 84, passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Mrs. Bell was born on September 14, 1938, in Denton to Jess Anderson and Vesta Mae (Milligan) Burch. She was married to Charles "Chuck" Stanford Bell on June 25, 1975; he passed away on May 25, 2012. Her love of being around children lead her to work in the Denton schools, where she retired.
She is survived by brother, Wayne Burch of Denton, TX; sister, Billie Brown of Houston, TX and by stepdaughter Troy-Lynn and husband Tim Kordatzky, grandsons Dustin Kordatzky, Brian Kordatzky, Kory Kordatzky, and Kyle Kordatzky. Two great-granddaughters, Serena Kordatzky and Sonya Kordatzky of Oklahoma. Three sister-in laws, Pauline Burch, Jo Ellen Burch, Earlene Burch, one brother-in-law, Will Nicklas and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers, RB, Clarence, Carlos, AD, Curtis, Ellis, Norman, George, and Johnny; and eight sisters, Odessa Armentrout, Geneal Tibbets, Jessie Gromatzky, Ruby Jean Nicklas, Peggy Spencer, Mildred Burch, and Mary Bruns.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM Saturday February 11, 2023, at Hickory Creek Baptist Church, 5724 Teasley Lane, Denton. Interment will follow at Old Alton Cemetery.
Floral tributes may be sent to Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Memorial donations may also be made to the Old Alton Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 3096, Denton, TX 76202.
