Matthew Michael Tredway, 29, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on August 8, 2006. Matthew was born in Irving on May 15, 1977 and moved to Arizona in 2001. He is survived by his father Michael Gary and Christine Tredway and stepbrother Ricky Tredway and two step sisters Ashley and Annie of Denton, Texas and his mother Elizabeth Tredway of Lewisville, Texas; grandparents Violet and Al Jannise of Irving, Texas and Al and Jean Galloway of Highland Village, Texas; uncle Ronnie Tredway of Lewisville; and cousin Justin Tredway, and great uncle and aunt John and Ruth Johnson, along with other extended family. Matthew graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2000 and went to Stephen F. Austin State University where he pursued graduate classes in clinical psychology and met his long-time sweetheart Nikki Amaratunge of Houston, Texas. Matthew was a very accomplished soccer player in Lewisville High School. Matthew was a highly respected and successful sales manager in the cellular industry. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers, and loved predicting his "pics." He traveled to many places-some of his favorite trips were those to Paradise Island, Washington, D.C., Sedona, and Roswell, New Mexico. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Mulkey-Mason in Lewisville. The family requests that instead of flowers a donation be made to the Lewisville Soccer Association.
