Mary Agnes Wright, 89, of Denton, died on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.
Mrs. Wright was born on August 1, 1925 in Vacherie, Louisiana to John C. and Uranie Webre. She graduated with a degree in nursing and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was married to Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright, Jr., on June 18, 1947 in New Orleans, LA. He died on March 20, 1997.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Ann Shelor of Arlington; sons, Michael Joseph Wright of Gainesville, Christopher John Wright of Dallas, John Martin Wright of New Glarus, WI; sisters, Frances M. Williams of Roseburg, OR, Bessie Rouge of Vacherie, LA, Mary Ann Barre of Westwego, LA; grandchildren, Donald Stanley Stewart, II, Charles Phillip Shelor, James Michael Shelor, Natalie Wright; great-grandchildren, Matthew Lee Stewart, Eden Clare Shelor; grandson by marriage, Ronald Bajet and great grandson by marriage, Scott Edward Spoon, Jr.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Maria Wright and a son, Dr. Kenneth Lloyd Wright, III.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 3:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton, TX. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
