Mary Margaret Foster Tritt age 90 of Denton passed away Monday November 30, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born September 8, 1919 in Krum, Texas to J.W. and Mae ( Jacobs ) Foster. She attended the Stoney Community School, Ponder High School and North Texas State University, now the University of North Texas. She married Glen Tritt on December 23, 1939 in Denton, Texas. Glen passed away June 30, 2001. Margaret was a member of the Waterview Church of Christ. She worked in accounting at Southwest State Bank Association. Margaret will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her daughters JoAnn and husband Clyde Owen of Frisco and Mariglen "Misty" and husband Ken Gold of Denton. Two sisters Pat and husband Gilbert S. Gil of Spring, Texas and Joyce and husband Doyle Taliaferro of Denton. One sister-in-law Betty Foster of Ponder. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by sisters Geneva Zerwer, Theda McCary, Eunice Paul' and brother Allan Foster. The family would like to Thank the staff of Lake Forest Good Samaritan health care facility and Denton Regional Medical Center for their care and kindness.
Graveside Service will be 2 pm Thursday December 3, 2009 at the Eakins Cemetery in Ponder. The Rev. Clyde Owen will be officiating the service.
