Mary Katherine Thomas age 78 of Denton, formerly of Paris, Texas passed away at her residence at the Vintage. She was born March 24, 1928 in Paris to Charles Pink and Mary Viola (Allen) Norrell. She married Jasper H. Thomas on August 31, 1946. He passed away in March 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris where she taught children's Sunday school for many years. Mary traveled with her husband while he was active in the Key Club.
Mary is survived by her son Gary Thomas and wife Cindy of Denton, grandson James Thomas and wife Lisa of Fort Worth. Niece Mary Castlebury Pethel and nephew David Castlebury both of Statesville, North Carolina.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday January 31, 2007 at the Evergreen Cemetery, 560 Evergreen Paris, Texas. The Rev. Ken Cannon will officiate the service.
