Mary Imogene Stark was 98 years old when she went to be with the Lord; surrounded by her family on April 1 ^st , 2023.

Mary was born May 8 ^th , 1924, in Dallas, Texas to Ed and Parlee Washmon. She married the love of her life Marvin A. Stark, Jr. April 2 ^nd , 1948, and shared their lives together for 67 years.

She is survived by her three children, Craig Stark of Denton, TX, Brian Stark and wife Kathryn of Ponder, TX, Cheri Leavell and husband Randy of Denton, TX; five grandchildren, Amy Wiese and husband Frank, Allen Leavell and wife Leah, Christopher Stark, Johnathan Leavell and wife Christa, Candice Reynolds and husband Johnathan. Mary also had 12 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, parents Ed and Parlee and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 7 ^th , 2023, from 6pm to 8pm and services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday April 8 ^th , 2023, both at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home (705 N. Locust Denton TX). Burial will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX on Monday April 10 ^th , 2023, at 10 AM. Dr. Jeff Williams of First Baptist Church, Denton, TX will be officiating.
