Mary Louise Raphelt, 83 of Denton, formerly of Lubbock passed away on November 25, 2013 at her home. She was born December 25, 1929 in Lubbock, TX to Lewis T. and Ursie M. (Gibbs) Bledsoe. She was married to the late Herman Raphelt on July 16, 1949 in Ralls, TX and he passed away on September 19, 2000. She was a graduate of of Ralls High School, BS degree Hardin Simmons University, Master's Degree, Texas Woman's University. She was a Public School Teacher in Post and Lubbock Public School systems. She was a member of the Melanie Park Church in Lubbock.
Mrs. Raphelt is survived by her sister and brother in law, Donna and John Jeanes of Denton, niece, Torey Jeanes of Cat Spring, and nephew, Mike Jeanes of Denton, and a large extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 2, 2013 in the Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 W. 19th St. Lubbock, TX with Glenn Polk and Chip Polk, officiating, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
