Mary Eleanor Neal, age 82, of The Colony, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at her home.

She was born April 20, 1926 in Norfolk, Virginia to George J. Thomas and Olive Brinson Thomas. Mary married Ralph L. Neal in North Carolina. He preceded her in death in 1983.

She is survived by her children; Shirley D. Beeley of Kansas City, Missouri, Deborah L. Sclafani of The Colony, Texas, Margaret L. Neal of Las Vegas, Nevada, Wendy L. Neal of Lewisville, Texas, Patrick L. Neal of Dallas, Texas and Michael L. Neal of Las Vegas, Nevada; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, George J. Thomas, Jr. and Raymond Thomas and also by William McDaniel of Big Pine, California who preceded her in death in 2006.

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel in Lewisville, Texas.
