Mary Marie Morrow, of Sanger, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton with her family at her side. Marie was born in Denton on October 11, 1933, daughter of Mary Lou and Mason White. She married Gene Morrow on June 20, 1953 in Marietta, OK. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sanger. After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso in July of 1964, she traveled with her husband during his years of service in the Air Force. Marie spent most of her years as a dedicated housewife, mother and Granny.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Morrow of Sanger; son, Dowl Morrow and his wife Becky of Sanger; daughter, Jamie McCormick and her husband Anthone of Denton; grandchildren, Carlye and Allye Morrow and Avery, A. J. and Ashley McCormick of Denton; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. The funeral service will be held at 2: 00 PM on Thursday February 4, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Sanger, TX with burial to follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle.
