Mary K. Menasco, 58, of Kemp, TX, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home in Kemp.
Mrs. Menasco was born on October 8, 1957 in Dallas to Edwin Ray "Bob" and Maxine Sharron (Goodwin) Garrett. She graduated Irving MacArthur High School in 1975 and graduated from Texas Woman's University in 1994. She retired from teaching at Lamar Middle School in the Irving ISD. She was a member of Denton Bible Church. She was married to James Richard "Rick" Menasco on July 6, 2002 in Denton.
Mary is survived by her husband, Rick Menasco of Kemp; daughter, Lauren Day and her husband Andrew of Little Elm; stepson, Cole Menasco of Little Rock, AR; brothers, James "Jim" Garrett and his wife Janet of Fort Worth, Richard "Rich" Garrett and his wife Glenda in Justin; one grandson, Logan James Day is on the way, due in March of 2016.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 13, 2015 in the chapel of Denton Bible Church. Rev. Tom Nelson will officiate the service. Interment will be at Matinburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, TX.
