Mary Massey, 94, of Little Elm, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Denton.

Mrs. Massey was born on May 18, 1913 in Monticello, AR to Marvin and Gertrude (Holland) Cruce. She was a former member of the Altrusa Service Club, LE Garden Club, and a current member of the Living Word Baptist Church in Little Elm. She had worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Landress of Garland for several years.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday April 28, 2008 at the Living Word Baptist Church, 2315 FM 720, Little Elm. Rev. Richard Stevens and Col. Flem Sexton   will officiate the service. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday April 27, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Coronado, Ricky Bambico, Jr., Jason Grimes, Knox Grimes, Hoby Daniel, Hal Anderson.

She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Daniel of Denton and Letitia Cox of Lenorah; twenty-one grandchildren; several great grandchildren and even a few great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marion C. Smith, Ray Thompson, Roy Massey; sons, James Marvin Smith and Kenneth Allen Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Living Word Baptist Church.
