Mary Elizabeth Fields Long

Our dearly beloved Elizabeth Long went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton H. Long and her dear son Milton I. "Sonny" Long. She was born to Robert E. Lee Fields and W. Ernestine Fields on November 22, 1918. GG is survived by her daughter Nancy Long Payne and granddaughters Wendi Beth Payne Self (Kenneth), Tonya Cathleen Payne Cybuski (Jhon), Leah Denise Long, Tabitha Kay Long; her 5 great grandchildren Andrew Edward Self, Alexandra Elizabeth Self, Jonathan Elliott Cybuski, Nathan Edward Cybuski, Madelyn Nicole Cybuski, she is also survived by her sweet pal "Bubba" and many very dear cousins and friends, too numerous to name and count. Elizabeth was born in Humble Tx., she grew up in Kleberg, Tx. and raised her children in Houston Tx. She and her daughter moved to Argyle, Tx. in 2003 to be near her great grandchildren. Among other things she was a pre-school teacher, helping to define and mold the morals and ethics of hundreds of today's world citizens & leaders. Miss Liz was loved by all of those who met her. She was quick to share a smile, kind word, offer her home to those who needed shelter or a warm meal to someone hungry or just in need of feeling loved. She lived her life by Christian values and enjoyed sharing her sage wisdom. Visitation will begin at 12:30 and funeral services at 2:00, Pearland Church of Christ in Pearland, Tx., Friday 20, 2012. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster Tx. at 3:45 In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Tx. Scottish Rite Hospital for children.
