Mary Kathryn "Katy" Pugh, 88 of Denton, passed away on Oct. 17, 2014 in Denton. She was born November 29 1925 in Terrell, TX to James Daniel and Eva Beatrice (Lawson) Coats. She was married to Thomas Edward Pugh on December 19, 1946 in Denton. She was a Homemaker and member of the Gateway Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pugh is survived by her husband Thomas E. Pugh of Denton, daughter, Lynn Yee and husband Gene of Lewisville, TX son Dr. Dale Pugh and wife Alicia of Huckabay, TX four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Denton Rehabilitation Center and Gentiva Hospice for their care and consideration.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M. at Gateway Baptist Church, 2400 N. Bell Ave, Denton followed by a funeral service on Monday, at 11 A. M. October 20, 2014 at the Church, with Rev. Buddy Owens and Dr. Dale Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Fund, or the North Texas Food Bank.
