Obituary
Mary Lynn George, 77, of Gribble Springs, died Thursday October 27, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. George was born on March 28, 1934 in Pilot Point to Edward Eldon and Inez Ella (Bruner) Riney. She was married to Sidney R. George on February 4, 1949 in Lewisville, Texas. She graduated from Texas Womanan's University. She was a retired nurse and a homemaker and a member of Gribble Springs Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday October 30, 2011 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2011 at Gribble Springs Baptist Church, Dr. Phillip Riegel will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Gribble Springs Cemetery.
She is survived by her son Vic George and wife Betty of Pilot Point; her daughter, Toni Erwin and husband Benny of Sanger; sisters, Foy Crowder and June Russell of Crossroads; four grandchildren, David L. Erwin and wife Dena, John R. Erwin and wife Dana, Jake George and wife Mandy, Alicia Sparkman and husband Milton; great-grandchildren, Kade Erwin, Gavin Erwin, Ryan Erwin, Braden Sparkman, and Kason Sparkman.
She is preceeded in death by her husband Sidney R. George, grandson Wesley R. Erwin, and parents.
