Mary Annette Bishop, 74, of Denton, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her home in Denton.
Mrs. Bishop was born on November 28, 1936 in Denison, TX to Thomas Edward and Frances Elizabeth (Jackson) Watson. She was married to Kenneth F. Bishop on August 2, 1994 in Denton. She was a member of the Southmont Baptist Church and was a travel agent for many years.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2011 at the funeral home. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday October 18, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Weaver will officiate the service. Interment will follow at 3:30 PM at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, TX.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Weaver and his wife Karen of Gastonia, NC, Larry Weaver and his wife Gina of Douglasville, GA, Jim Bishop and his wife Mary Kay of Corinth; sister, Carolyn Wilkerson and her husband Bobby of Gorman, TX, Betty Jean Butcher of Sherman, TX; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; beloved nieces, Phyllis Floyd and her husband Floyd, Debra McBride and her husband Ronald.
