Marty J. Ashley, age 44, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2007. Marty was born on February 12, 1962 in Dallas, TX. Marty was an extremely avid sports enthusiast. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, participated in fantasy football and was an umpire with the Cibola Little League in Rio Rancho. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. Marty was a very dedicated employee as an operational analyst with the Citigroup in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two step-sons, Zachary and Jeremiah; mother, Geneva Ashley; brothers, Brian Ashley and his wife Michelle, Terry Ashley and his wife Judy. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Ashley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas with interment to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, TX. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the funeral home.
