Martin Wayne Cooper Sr., 61, passed away on July 21, 2014 in Denton, TX. Martin was born in Dallas, TX on October 6, 1952 the son of Joe L. Cooper and Gennetta Thompson Cooper. Martin is survived by his wife Sharion of Denton; Tami Joslin and husband Allen of Sulpher Springs, TX; Tina Jobe and husband John of Wolfe City, TX; Shelly May and husband Lucas of Houston, AR; Martin Cooper Jr. and wife Kimberly of Forney, TX; Cinthia Cooper of Aubrey, TX and Joe Cooper of Aubrey, TX; Martin is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday July 24, 2014 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m. at the North Hopkins Cemetery in Birthright, TX. A visitation will take place at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on Wednesday July23, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.
