Martha Mae Tragon 79, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Altoona, Pa, passed away on November 2, 2009 in Texas. Mrs. Tragon was born August 14, 1930, daughter of James Park and Lena (Fetter) Park. She married Richard (Dick) Tragon on January 23, 1954 and they resided in Altoona, Florida and Texas.
She is survived by one son: Richard Jr. and wife, Regan O'Steen-Tragon, of Flower Mound, Texas; two grandchildren: Roma and Rawley Tragon, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tragon graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1949 and worked at Vogue Butterick in Altoona for over 20 years. Mrs. Tragon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, an avid bingo player, loved chocolate and game shows, and was active in the Evergreen Community and the Senior Center in Lewisville, Texas. She was a very caring person who spent the last ten years of her life nursing her late husband through an extended illness.
Friends in Texas will be receive Wednesday, November 4 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home 740 S. Edmonds, Lewisville, Texas. Friends and family in Pennsylvania will be received Friday, November 6 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Stevens Mortuary, 1421 Eighth Ave, Altoona, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
