Martha Ann Lee was born to Bethel and Webb Wheeler on May 14, 1930 in Denton, TX. Martha married Otis Carl Lee of Pilot Point, TX on January 22, 1948. She went home to be with Jesus on Monday, September 27, 2010. Martha loved spending time with her family and cherished the outings with her brothers and her sister. She was a steadfast example in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Martha was a long time member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God in Denton, TX and loved her church family. She enjoyed long talks and walks in the mall with her good friends. We are all better for being blessed with her life. She served God for 40 years and is now rejoicing with Him in her heavenly home.
Martha is preceded in death by: her husband, Otis C. Lee; her parents, Bethel and Webb Wheeler; her brothers, J.T. Wheeler, Conrad Wheeler, Jack Wheeler, and James "Pee Wee" Wheeler, and one great grandson. She leaves to cherish her memories: her sister, Mina Brown of Denton, TX; her sons, Otis L. Lee of Tioga, TX, Robert "Hoppy" Lee of Denton, TX; her daughter, Betty Bray of Bayside, TX; nine grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 30, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 am at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 1101 Audra Lane in Denton. Rev. Randy Snow, Rev. Terry Johnson and Rev. Otis Lee, Jr. will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Lee, Jeremy McKee, Luke McKee, Tim Lindenborn, Clint Flemming, Josh Seaman, Aaron Ucci.
