Marsha Fletcher Elaine Taylor, 70, passed from this life into the loving arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on September 15, 2026. She was born on October 6, 1955, to LaVerl and Virginia Fletcher in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Wayne Fletcher. She is survived by her son Austin and his wife Juanita; her grandson Samuel; her brother Daniel Fletcher and his wife Clarice; nieces Clarissa Rowell and her husband Brandon, and Raebecca Powell and her husband Jeremy; grandnieces Shade Powell, Danielle Rowell, and Ashlin Rowell; and grandnephew Atlas Powell.
She graduated with an associate’s degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Throughout her career, she served as a telephone operator for GTE, a substitute teacher for the Sunnyvale Independent School District, and a retail supervisor at Mikasa. She also earned her real estate license, as well as Series 7 and Series 24 licenses, working as a General Securities Principal and Stockbroker at TD Ameritrade. She was recognized there for her deep knowledge of regulatory requirements while serving on the resource desk, the role from which she ultimately retired.
A viewing will be available Friday September 18th 2026 from 2-5pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home at 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX 76201. The burial and a short grave side service will take place on Saturday September 19th, 2026 at 3pm in Tahlequah OK, Tahlequah City Cemetery 1251 W. Fox St. Tahlequah OK 74464.
