Marjorie Ruth Stanhope Bomar, age 83, took her last living breath on January 9th, 2011, at 10:25 P.M. in Denton, Texas. It was gently snowing that day, symbolic to her final resting place in Duck Creek Cemetery located in Old Lyme, Connecticut, where her family will welcome her back home. She went peacefully and without pain after a long and very rewarding life. She won the fight with Ovarian Cancer many times before time itself took the fight out of her. Mom lettered in Basketball, Softball and Field Hockey at Lyme-Old Lyme High School and graduated from the New London Business College in Shorthand and Typewriting. The Christmas list was always in shorthand, very clever.
