Obituary
Marjorie Belle Paschall Drennan, was born January 2, 1916 in Wise County, Texas to Walter and Mary Fox Paschall. She passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2007 at Denton Good Samaritan Village, age 91 years old. She lived most of her life in Denton and attended Denton Public Schools, graduating from Denton High School in 1933. She graduated from Texas Woman's University in 1937 with a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics.
She married Robert P. Drennan of Cleburne, TX on February 18, 1939 at the family home place in Denton. She had met her husband in McCloud, TX where she taught School from 1937-1939. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years in 2001. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Paschall and by a sister, Beth Carruth. Marjorie was the secretary for the North Texas Laboratory School for ten years. She retired from the Lewisville, TX ISD in 1978 after ten years as Lewisville High school Secretary-Registrar. She is survived by a son, David P. Drennan, M. D. of San Francisco, CA a daughter, Jana Beth Mackenna, of Denton, two grandsons, Cody Lee Mackenna, of Sanger and Colter Pate Mackenna, of Denton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marjorie was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.The family will be at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Oct. 9, 2007 from 7 P.M. until 8 P.M. for visitation. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in the chapel of Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. Graveside service will be private.
